Responsibilities
We are looking for a team player to join our dynamic group and perform basic scientific research in the areas of lung repair and regeneration, cancer and fibrosis. Your primary duty will be to provide technical support in the research grade laboratory. You will perform various techniques involving tissue culture of mammalian cells (human and murine) with sterile aseptic techniques and will perform DNA/RNA/Protein isolation/extraction/quantification from assorted biological material and tissue.
In this role, you will perform cell culture work, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, DNA/RNA/protein assays, research data procurement, and data analysis. You will also perform laboratory supervisory tasks including meticulous records keeping, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, stocking and placing laboratory orders.
