Title AY24-25 Equipment Maintenance Technician (Work Study)
Position Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform hands-on preventive maintenance duties such as inspecting, lubricating, disassembling, assembling, adjusting, polishing, and repositioning of fitness equipment. They will also be expected to update equipment usage logs and record each task undertaken.
Experience using service manuals and making repairs using a variety of hand tools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal vocational training
  • Experience in a related field such as auto, motorcycle, bicycle, small engine, or appliance repairs
  • Certifications a plus
Physical Demands
Able to reposition fitness equipment and lift loads of at least 60 pounds. Should have no allergies to lubricants, polish, or dust.
