POSITION SUMMARY:
The Resource Manager I partners with Business Leaders, IT HR, and Technical/Strategic Leads to communicate and facilitate business goals, programs, and processes in support of employee recruitment, performance, development and retention.  This position will participate in the evaluation and planning of resource needs. This position reports to Resource Manager. The Resource Manager serves as an advocate for employees and guides them on their career path and development within the organization.  This is an entry level position responsible for understanding team dynamics and needs,  assessing strengths and weaknesses, supporting team morale and resolving issues or conflicts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Retention- Monitor Job postings. Organize recruitment events. Collect resumes potential candidates and review for initial qualifications. Follow up on interviews and collect feedback from Interviewers. Complete reference requests for new hires. Coordinate recruitment efforts with IT HR through job postings and hiring events. Participate in decisions for hiring recommendations based on goals, experience and skill set required for current and future needs.
Resource Planning and Allocation- Partner with Technical/Strategic Leads to continually assess team resources. Conduct research to gain understanding of positions based on industry requirements. Work with Technical/Strategic Leads to coordinate and monitor day to day project activities and resources, including attendance and leave requests. Keep list of employees up to date. Manage employee equipment, supplies and storage. Facilitate team requests and orders.
Proficiency in utilizing Power Platform tools and W2W Scheduling systems to enhance workflow automation, data analysis, and employee scheduling processes.
Team Roles and Responsibilities: attend Scrum Ceremonies and team meetings to learn more about teams and their needs.
Performance Evaluation- Partner with Technical/Strategic Leads to continually assess employee performance through sprints, check-ins, quarterly and annual evaluations. Ensure that employees understand job responsibilities and measures for successful performance. Participate in recommendations for pay for performance actions. Work closely with Technical/Strategic Leads and IT HR in the resolution of informal grievances, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and other employee relations issues.
Career Growth and Development- Support and assist employees with career growth and development. This includes working with Technical/Strategic Leads and IT HR to facilitate individual development plans. Assist in identifying opportunities for learning/training and routinely tracking progress. Collaborate with Technical/Strategic Leads or other areas within IT to recommend development activities for employees such as job shadowing and mentorship. Assist with requests for training and research associated costs according to available training resources for each team. Partner with IT HR, Technical/Strategic Leads and Leadership to track advancement for employees. Research industry trends for positions. Consult with leads and Sr RM about updating industry requirements for positions.
Employee Engagement - Promote team culture and work environment that encourages and challenges employees to grow and develop. Research and facilitate employee engagement activities, such as team building activities/events.  Manage team calendar and ongoing team activities. Research Employee engagement activities, such as team building activities/events.
Communication - Partner with Strategic/Technical Leads to share department or team related information to direct reports. Answer questions and concerns. Communicate and resolve team operational issues. Actively participate in ongoing improvement discussions and activities. Provide information on resource options to the team, including documentation and procedures found in Confluence. Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.  Answer questions and concerns or educate on self-service options that are available for employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. Six years of related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
SB 1310 Degree Equivalency: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.
