As the auxiliary technology manager, you will supervise and train all personnel in software such as Banner and the Admin Meal Plan Portal. In this role you will be responsible for managing the ID card production for students, staff/faculty, and vendors; presenting SCAD Card related information at events as requested; and resolving escalated issues brought up by a specialist. You will be expected to identify specific knowledge required for staff to develop trainings both internally and for other departments. You will also assist the director with the department calendar.  


As the auxiliary technology manager, you will offboard employee accounts, process purchase requests in ecommerce, and manage the upkeep of all SCAD Card related hardware. The manager is responsible for overseeing SCAD vending for maintenance and refund requests, handling Onity processes to ensure residence life and physical resources needs are met, and monitoring the department email. 


Minimum Qualifications:      


  • At least three years of customer service experience 

  • Outstanding customer service working in high-volume setting 

  • Technical experience as it relates to operating and troubleshooting auxiliary systems 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills 

  • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite literacy 


Certificates, licenses, and registrations:  


  • Valid driver’s license   


Travel Required:  


  • Less than 10%    


Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
