Auxiliary Support Associate

The Auxiliary Support Associate works with the Merchandising department, shopSCAD and SCAD Art Sales. For Merchandising, this position would be responsible for order fulfillment and restocking of SCAD branded merchandise in all SCAD auxiliaries (Ex Libris, shopSCAD, Art's, Forage, Tad, Lucas), maintaining SCAD vending machines, and assisting with Merchandising airstream-related events and college events (night and weekend) as needed.  Weekly visits to each auxiliary would be done to freshen and maintain displays of merchandise and determine any additional inventory needed. This position would participate in annual inventory count. For merchandising, shopSCAD, and SCAD Art Sales, this position would be responsible for assisting in processing invoices for artist payments and clients.                                                           

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Knowledge of, or experience with sales, visual display, inventory management and accounting preferred. 

• Excellent organizational skills and a professional and friendly demeanor. 
• Ability to apply selling and order fulfillment management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Highly organized self-starter.
• Customer-service driven.
• Solution-oriented.
• Detail-oriented. 
• Experience with fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory, customer service and processing invoices is helpful, but training is provided. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Knowledge or experience with sales, visual display, inventory management, and accounting

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

• Valid driver’s license
• DOT exam

Travel required:

• Less than 10%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
