Sitting long periods of time, working at a computer for large portions of the day; repetitive motion; occasionally positioning patients over 25 lbs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 7:30-6:00pm (40 hrs/wk), 4x 10-hour shifts
Job Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology seeks an individual to be part of our team of seven audiologists to provide exceptional patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a multi-specialty team of audiologists and physicians. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical background and would provide all aspects of audiology including diagnostics (comprehensive audiological evaluation, VNG and electrophysiology) in both pediatric and adult populations as well as hearing aid dispensing.
Some travel to partnered clinics is required.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment for patients within a hospital/healthcare setting. The ability to navigate and use basic office computer software (Windows OS; MS Office, etc) and medical applications.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience
Kentucky Hearing Aid Dispensing License preferred. AuD and/or PhD preferred.
