| Position Purpose | The IACS accredited UCM Counseling Center (CC) seeks an Athletics Mental Health Clinician to join its team of professionals. The candidate would join a team that values diversity, strives to practice and promote healthy functioning, and supports one another to do its best work. The full-time Athletics Mental Health Clinician supports UCM Athletics through direct clinical services to student athletes, coordination of treatment with team physicians and athletic trainers, outreach and training to coaches, teams, and athletic staff, and consultation to athletics leadership and staff. The services are intended to promote student-athlete mental health, holistic wellness, academic achievement, and athletic excellence. An understanding of athletic identity and culture is critical to the success of this position. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented professional who enjoys supporting student athletes and will work closely with Athletics personnel to created a healthy and successful program.
