Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of a clinical athletic trainer is to work with our primary care sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons.
In addition to clinic coverage, this position also has other programmatic requirements including, but not limited to, sports medicine phone triage coverage, continuing education, training, meetings and other fill in outreach coverage as needed for schools, clubs and tournaments.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills
Education: Bachelor degree in athletic training or exercise science, minimum required.

License and Certification: Certification and/or licensure in Athletic Training as defined by the State of Ohio (or state in which the employee will work).

Years of Experience: Recently certified, licensed or graduates within past twelve months, minimum required.

Required Skills and Knowledge:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to accurately document in the Electric Health Record (EHR)
