Primary Responsibilities | St. Lawrence University invites applications for a full-time athletic trainer position. This is a full time, 10-month staff position. Our athletic training staff provides services for a comprehensive athletic program which features 35 intercollegiate teams, including Division I Men’s and Women’s Hockey. Responsibilities include providing athletic training services among the 35-sports. The successful candidate will work with other athletic training staff members in the care, prevention, clinical evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of the student-athletes. This includes but is not limited to, providing game and practice coverage, managing and organizing medical records, assisting with supervising/mentoring student first-aiders, and communicating with assigned team coaches. The athletic trainer’s primary responsibilities will be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer. Teaching in the Sport and Exercise Science minor is also a possibility. Athletic training opportunities during Summer Camps are available. |
