Job Summary: The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes.


Additional Department Summary: Will provide nutrition expertise to assigned teams, assists with men's basketball, baseball, and golf teams Performance Nutrition, assist in managing nutrition students, nutrition operations, and work in concert with all performance nutrition staff members.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field, OR individuals currently enrolled in college completing their undergraduate studies.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, Food and Nutrition, or Exercise Physiology.


Preferred Qualifications: Registered Dietitian RD or Registered Dietitian Eligible RDE. Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, exercise physiology or related field. Experience in college or pro sports environments. Experience with students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
