Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, nights and weekends as scheduled for events.
Pay Rate $12.00 per hour
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor’s Degree. At least 1 year of experience in athletic facilities.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Masters preferred, and experience working within and NCAA Division I athletics department, preferably with experience in facilities, game operations, and/or event management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Acquire full knowledge of Charlotte athletic facilities
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of each facility for events
  • Assist the Director of Athletic Facilities with duties involved in operations of all Charlotte Athletic Facilities
  • Assist Associate Director of Athletic Events and Assistant Director of Athletic Events & Facilities to ensure all athletic events are run at a professional level
  • Assist in managing student work force at events
  • Conduct a weekly facility walk through and complete facility checklists for each facility
  • Ensure each facility is event ready
  • Collaborate with other departments within Athletics to foster a dynamic cross-functional line of communication
  • Act as primary game day manager (or secondary manager) for assigned sports. Coordinate
    communications with visiting team and officials as needed
  • Act as event manager to outside groups renting facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
