Description of Work
Provide mental health psychology services, drug and alcohol counseling, mental health assessments and education to student-athletes and sports programs. Provide education and prevention programming on clinical psychological issues to student athletes, coaches, athletic department staff, and other constituents. Will need to work some evenings and weekends depending on student-athletes’ needs and schedules. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in mental health related field and 2 years providing mental health services to students ages 16-24 in an educational environment. Demonstrated contextual and cultural understanding of elite sport systems and individuals essential. Clinical/prevention experience in the areas of eating disorders/disordered eating and interdisciplinary healthcare modalities required. Eligibility to be licensed as a psychologist, LPC, LCSW, or LIMHP in the state of Nebraska within one year of hire required.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology preferred. Two years’ experience providing mental health services to student-athletes and two years’ experience providing psychological skills training for sport. Prefer applicants with a certification in the provision of psychological services in sport.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.
