Assistant Professor of Psychology (Tenure-Track)
The Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina Aiken (USC Aiken) invites applications for a Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology, area of specialization is open, with the intent to find someone who will complement current faculty expertise. This position will begin August 16, 2024. Requirement: PhD in psychology by the time of appointment. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Psychology Department at USC Aiken consists of ten full-time faculty members, approximately 200 undergraduate majors, and 30 graduate students. USC Aiken offers the Bachelor of Science degree in psychology both in-person and online (in-person options in neuroscience, general/experimental, social/developmental, and clinical/applied), as well as a Master of Science degree in clinical/counseling psychology (MPCAC accredited). Candidates should be committed to promoting a liberal arts education through undergraduate and graduate instruction, using engaged learning strategies appropriate for the discipline and level, and to developing a program of research to support graduate student research and master’s-level theses.
