|Summary of Duties||
The Assistant Director plays a critical role in the mission of the Honors and Scholars Center to provide impactful, enriching academic and co-curricular experiences to students in our programs. As the leader of assessment for the Center, the Assistant Director will locate and maintain partnerships with strategic areas across campus pertaining to institutional data and prepare regular reports consisting of new data, already-existing data and recommendations regarding courses, teaching, and programming. The responsibilities of the position also include developing and implementing a Center assessment plan including but not limited to all College Honors programs, all Scholars programs, and the Undergraduate Fellowship Office. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, the Assistant Director assists the Senior Associate Director with academic initiatives, working closely with Honors faculty and advisors, College Honors Directors, and other partners across campus. The position responsibilities include supervising staff members who oversee the Honors and Scholars ePortfolio and the Eminence Fellows Program. Serving as a member of the Honors and Scholars Leadership Team, the Assistant Director represent Honors and Scholars (H&S) at appropriate meetings across campus. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice Provost and Director for Honors and Scholars.
