The University of Cincinnati, Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine, has a full time faculty position available, specializing in the area of Medical Oncology. This position will be at the Assistant,  Associate or Full Professor level in the clinical, non-tenured track.  Rank will depend on academic accomplishments and programmatic expectations.  This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our student, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

These positions are supported by dedicated administrative staff and advanced practice providers. Compensation is highly competitive with the opportunity for incentives based on clinical and/or academic productivity. 


Essential Functions

Clinical duties will include:

  • Responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.  
  • Patient care and teaching activities are conducted at UC Health facilities and, based on specifically approved initiatives, at other health care systems.  
  • This is an academic mission position, for which effort distribution is negotiable and may include non-clinical time for research, teaching or administration.

 


Minimum Requirements

Applicants for this faculty position must have all of the following prior to effective date of appointment:

  • MD or DO (or foreign equivalent).
  • Ohio Medical License. 
  • Completion of three-year ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completion of a two-year fellowship in Hematology or Oncology, or a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Hematology, Oncology, or Hematology and Oncology.
