The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Software Developer (REMOTE AVAILABLE) [R0128534].

ROLE of the POSITION

This position provides application development and support to the Enterprise Applications group. The person in this position will develop or modify applications and participate in the application development lifecycle process. The incumbent will work with clients to understand requirements that originate from business rules and functional specifications.  This role requires building and maintaining positive client relationships. The position also fulfills other duties in the Enterprise Applications group as appropriate.

PROFILE of the OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides leadership, support, training, and enterprise IT services that empower students, faculty, and staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 1+ years of professional experience with software development using industry-standard software development languages and methodologies. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

Experience in a higher-education environment preferred.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. The position is contingent upon funding with a minimum starting salary of $64,900.
