Reporting to the Senior Director of College of Medicine Faculty Affairs, the Associate Project Manager provides project management support to the Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS), its’ Director, Associate Director, faculty leads, and five subcommittees; facilitates internal projects from proposal through go live; ensures that projects are completed in alignment with strategic initiatives, annual goals, and fiscal budget; manages all events from inception through post go live, including monthly meetings, professional development events, annual meetings, and national conferences; implements logistics and communications for all events; leads all aspects of project planning, oversight, resource allocation, financial planning, provide progress reports, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and champion change as needed; ensures project results meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements; serve as a liaison between directors, subcommittees, faculty, and organizations inquiring about WIMS programming; creates and maintains online materials including website, newsletters, resource documents, event announcement, current member lists, subcommittee TEAMS folders; creates content for faculty newsletters and HealthbeatHUB to disseminate information to faculty; develops and implements standard operating procedures for WIMS; strategically communicates with working groups, including sub-committees, Advisory Board/Steering Committee, project groups; develops and monitors WIMS budget, tracks expenditures, executes travel planning and maintains appropriate fiscal records; assists with the coordination and facilitation of additional key projects within College of Medicine Faculty Affairs.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. One year experience in program planning and administration preferred; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Zoom preferred. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
