POSITION SUMMARY:
The USF College of Nursing is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track faculty to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs; conduct scholarly activity; mentor nursing students; and engage in college, university, community, and professional service activities. Faculty can expect to teach, conduct research, engage in scholarship, and provide service, at any of the three USF campuses (Tampa, Sarasota-Manatee or St. Petersburg).

Must meet university criteria for appointment in accordance to rank of Associate Professor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching: Didactic, online, and clinical instruction of undergraduate and graduate level courses. Program and curriculum review and clinical site and student evaluation.
Administrative/Service: Serve on college and university committees where appropriate. Community and professional service activities in accordance with university criteria for appointment in accordance to rank.
Other Duties: Scholarly activity, publications, and presentations in accordance with university criteria for appointment in accordance to rank.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
Doctorate in nursing or related discipline.
Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor.
Must hold a Clear, Active, Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida by the appointment date.
PREFERRED:
Experience with technology supported educational methods (online or blended format); demonstrated ability to work effectively with community partners; experience with diverse learners; current clinical practice experience; experience teaching in an academic baccalaureate program in a university setting, demonstrated record of achievement in scholarship.
Must be eligible to practice and maintain licensure as a Certified as Family Nurse Practitioner APRN in the State of Florida.
