Position Description

The University of Louisville SOM Dept. of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research, in conjunction with Norton Children's Research Institute, is recruiting a Pediatric Research Scientist for a faculty position (open rank).

The successful candidate will join our growing team of scientists and physician-scientists who conduct nationally recognized pediatric research. Norton Children's Research Institute (NCRI), affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, provides comprehensive research support services across all pediatric divisions, and includes a team of investigators who both provide mentorship and lead their own independent research programs. NCRI currently has over 170 clinical studies open for enrollment and includes a staff of over 60.

Duties will primarily involve conducting research related to pediatric health, with a particular focus on community engaged research strategies, as well as mentorship for junior faculty and trainees.  Salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
