Position Description:

The principal responsibilities of Associate Professor Term (Open Rank) of Gastroenterology include teaching, research, and clinical service.  Teaching responsibilities may include participation in clinical diagnosis, lectures to medical students, and extramural programs such as continuing medical education lectures at area hospitals. Clinical practice includes hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and office-based patient care.  The primary clinical focus of this position will be on inflammatory bowel disease and will play a pivotal role in the division's expanding clinical trials program.
