Job Description Summary:
The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist with a focus in acute leukemia and MDS/MPN to join the leukemia section of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapeutics (HMCT) team. We are the region's largest Blood Cancer and Cellular Immunotherapy program in Kansas.
Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship and be board-certified/eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications:

Job Duties Outlined:

  • Provide medical care for both outpatient clinic and hospitalized patients with leukemia and hematologic malignancies (excluding stem cell transplant)

  • Contribute to various research, educational and clinical initiatives related to acute leukemia and MDS

  • Contribute to education of medical students, residents and fellows

  • Advance the science of hematologic malignancies through participation in clinical research

  • Participate in the management of patients with Acute leukemia, Myelodysplastic syndrome, Myeloproliferative neoplasms, and clonal hematopoiesis.
