Position Description:

The Division of Biostatistics (DoB) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), seek an outstanding biostatistician with a track record of peer- reviewed, transplant and cell therapy-focused funding and strong leadership skills to serve as Chief Statistical Director of the CIBMTR.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a premier international research organization studying and advancing hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy to improve survival and quality of life for patients with malignant and non-malignant diseases.

  • CIBMTR conducts observational and interventional research using a unique clinical outcomes database of over 600,000 patients worldwide, a prospective clinical trial network focused on cellular therapy research, and a repository of donor and recipient cells and DNA.

  • Statistical leadership for the CIBMTR, overseeing Biostatistics faculty and masters statisticians supporting the CIBMTR, working on design and analysis of CIBMTR research studies, and assisting in developing extramural grant applications in collaboration with CIBMTR investigators.

  • Position is an Associate or Full Professor tenure track faculty position in the MCW Division of Biostatistics.

  • PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in statistics or biostatistics required.
