| Advertising Copy | The University of Vermont’s (UVM) Department of Education in the College of Education and Social Services invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor (tenure-track) for a full-time (9-month) appointment in Literacy and/or Educator Preparation related to Literacy to join our nationally recognized and award-winning faculty. The position will start in Fall of 2024. We seek a nationally recognized scholar who is well-versed in the research and practices of the discipline, including evidence-based approaches to teaching foundational literacy and preparing educators who are highly skilled to use these practices in educational contexts. We are particularly interested in individuals with an active research agenda and a history of external funding, strong teaching skills, and a record of engaged collaborative service with faculty, field-based partners, and state agencies.
