Job Summary
One-Year (nine month) Instructor
The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism in the College of Health at the University of Utah is pleased to announce a nine-month instructor appointment for the 2021-22 academic year. The Department is looking for a skilled educator, who will cover classes in the core curriculum and provide representation on Department, College, and University committees. This appointment will begin August 16, 2021 and go through May 15, 2022. *
 
The successful candidate will have experience in teaching core classes including but not exclusive to introductory and mid-level courses in parks, recreation, and tourism management. Preference will be given to individuals with skills in financial and personnel management, facilities, and sustainability.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position will be teaching core classes including but not exclusive to introductory and mid-level courses in parks, recreation, and tourism, with a preference on financial, personnel, and facility management and sustainability. Additionally, this person may be asked to represent the Department on College and University committees depending on the skills and interests of the individual, and service needs. 
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: M.S. and academic preparation in parks, recreation, tourism or a closely related discipline required.
