Job Summary

In collaboration with the Creative Director, the Elevate Music Director will be responsible for managing and directing adults with disabilities in a musical theater setting. Together, the directors lead rehearsals, make artistic interpretations and decisions based on the script, teach music and choreography, and oversee set and costume design. Additionally, they will work with performers with disabilities to practice and memorize music, lines, choreography, and blocking. In May, the directors work with Tanner Dance to produce a complete stage production.

Minimum Qualifications

-A willingness to work with adults with disabilities who have various levels of independence
-Piano proficiency and other music skills
-Technical theater production
-Collaborate with parents, volunteers, a co-director and Tanner Dance staff
