Research Associate in Therapeutics Design at Duke University
The Programmable Biology Group (https://www.chatterjeelab.com/ ) at Duke University, led by incoming Professor Pranam Chatterjee, leverages deep learning-based protein design to develop the next generation of programmable tools for:

In the immediate future, we seek to apply our deep learning-designed editors to correct disease-related mutations and to degrade pathogenic proteins for therapeutic purposes. Our long-term goals are to employ our novel cell engineering methods to generate functional gametes, as well as other ovarian cell types, from stem cells. To develop the next generation of biotechnology solutions, we seek motivated experimental biochemists with experience in one or more of the following areas: 
  • Cellular biochemistry (cell culture, Western blotting, ELISA, etc.) 
  • Molecular Biology (PCR, cloning, plasmid purification etc.) 
  • Mouse models (animal handling, in vivo delivery, etc.) Overall, the ideal candidate will be excited to apply their experimental skillsets in new, innovative directions, and work with a dynamic team made up of both experimentalists and computer scientists!
