Of major importance: this position is specifically geared toward individuals who plan to transition into a PhD program in Biomedical Engineering within the next year. The Chilkoti Laboratory at Duke University is a multidisciplinary group that has a particular interest in developing low-cost, point-of-care diagnostics and in applying polymer technology towards clinically impactful applications in the developing world.
