Associate/Full Professor - Early Autism Intervention and Implementation Science
Position Overview:
The salary range for this position is $139,500-$297,200. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan .
The University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for an Associate/Full Professor in the Clin X or In-Res series with a focus on early autism intervention and implementation science. The incumbent will serve as a training coordinator on multi-site trials of implementation interventions for behavioral strategies for children with ASD in educational (early intervention and schools) and clinical settings and will collaborate as a co-investigator on other federally-funded projects. The incumbent may also serve as PI on funded projects. In addition to these research and training activities, the candidate will provide clinical and diagnostic services in the MIND Institute Massie Family Clinic.
As part of this work, this position involves supervising a multidisciplinary team of mental health providers, teachers, and board certified behavior analysts implementing evidence-based strategies in community settings. In the Massie Family Clinic the candidate will provide clinical and diagnostic services, will provide services within the NICU follow-up (Baby Steps) clinic, and will serve as a trainer for the ESDM training program and may provide training and supervision for trainees.
The incumbent will provide teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, participate in appropriate professional societies and educational organizations, and provide service to department and school committees. This individual should also have ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment and adhere to University policies and procedures.
The Department of Psychiatry has approximately 80 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists. The Department provides a simulating teaching and research environment. The UC Davis MIND Institute (Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is a collaborative international research center, committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cures of neurodevelopmental disorders. The UC Davis MIND Institute clinic provides comprehensive evidence-based assessments of children with possible neurodevelopmental disorders. The clinic provides treatment programs including an infant clinic, parent coaching, social skills and behavioral services.
