Associate Director -Website & Portal Management

The Associate Director will support the positioning and recruitment efforts through the use of technology for the Office of Enrollment Management. This position is responsible for the strategic direction, oversight and execution of student portals, web content, social media,  reporting, and strategy related to information systems within the enrollment management division. This person will be self-directed and highly skilled at manipulating the Slate interface, data flow with other information systems, project management and the strategic implementation of communications to impact overall student enrollment and success. 

Targeted student populations primarily include undergraduate, adult and graduate students.   Much of this work is done through Slate portals and communication tools as well as Creighton’s website and social media. This person will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert, interact with senior enrollment leadership and other university partners to influence strategic decisions related to their work, and provide technical and data-related services, guidance, support, and training to Enrollment teams related to records management and data retention, communications, form building, event management, and volunteer management. This role may require delegating responsibilities and monitoring the work of other team members.



  • Bachelor’s degree, masters degree strongly preferred
  • HTML  
  • CSS 
  • Web design, UI, and front-end development 
  • Photoshop 
  • Online marketing and extensive social media experience 
  • 5-7 years of professional experience 
  • Understanding and ability to articulate user experience in web experience
  • Experience with CRM, specifically Slate is strongly preferred
  • Adobe Creative Suite and specifically InDesign
