Summary of Duties

The Office of Student Life Associate Director for Student Conduct, Deputy Title IX Coordinator supervises a team of sexual misconduct investigators responsible for investigating allegations of student sexual misconduct, which includes sexual harassment, sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking. As the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, the Associate Director oversees and conducts investigations of alleged student sexual misconduct; is responsible for ensuring investigations and adjudication proceedings follow university policy and for preparing reports for Student Conduct, Student Life, the Title IX Coordinator and other university leaders as required. The Associate Director Deputy Title IX Coordinator reports to the Director of Student Conduct and has a dotted reporting line to the University Title IX Coordinator.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree or J.D.; three years of experience managing Sexual Misconduct (sexual harassment, sexual assault, relationship violence and/or stalking) proceedings; must demonstrate progressively responsible leadership or supervisory experience; strong working knowledge of Title IX, the Clery Act; experience working in a student affairs conduct or similar office; demonstrated ability to analyze regulatory and other legal developments; demonstrated ability to collaborate with university partners to manage cases and develop practices in response to changing case law, regulations or applicable policies; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet; working knowledge of Maxient.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated background in working with diverse groups of students, faculty, staff and/or parents; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; certification as Title IX Investigator.

Target Salary $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 Annually
