The Tepper School of Business is searching a dynamic leader to join us as an Associate Director of Student Services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven by helping students succeed and thrives in an interesting and dynamic work environment. This role is responsible for providing academic and non-academic guidance and leadership for students, coordinating student programs/events, overseeing day to day academic operations, and promoting student engagement.


Core responsibilities include:

  • Academic advising and student development oversight

  • Student Program planning to align with the school’s /program’s strategic vision and student outcomes.

  • Management of day-to-day academic operations for student cohorts

  • Managing a communication plan for connecting with new and existing students

  • Coordinate student support during critical incident moments/events

  • Other duties as assigned

You should demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, listening and, organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to optimally learn, interpret and explain the curriculum policies and procedures to students


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of higher education experience with responsibly with student advising and student programs/events required; 5+ years experience preferred

  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

Additional Information:

  • Typical Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00pm. An alternate work schedule allowing for evening and weekend hours will be required on occasion.
