Associate Director-Sports Medicine

Job Summary

 

Associate Director of Sports Medicine-Football - Work with the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine and team physicians with the delivery of athletic health care for ‎intercollegiate athletes for Football. Supervise 2-3 certified athletic trainers and provide professional development to those individuals.  NATA-BOC certification and Indiana Athletic Training License, Indiana Physical Therapy License if employee has Physical Therapy Degree.  Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
    

 

Required: 

  • BS/BA degree from CAATE accredited athletic training education program 
  • 6 years of experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training 
  • NATA-BOC certification and Indiana Athletic Training License, Indiana Physical Therapy License if employee has Physical Therapy Degree.  
  • Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

 

 

Preferred:

  • Master degree
