About the Position: 

By approaching misconduct as an opportunity for holistic student development, the Office of Student Conduct fosters student learning, assists students in repairing harm caused from their actions, and facilitates opportunities for them to restore well-being within themselves, the campus community, and society. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Associate Director, Office of Student Conduct (Administrator I). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude, an active, energetic mind, and a leadership style that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Reporting directly to the Director of Student Conduct, the Associate Director plays a pivotal role in the administration and execution of the student conduct process at California State University, Fullerton. Acting under the Director's guidance, the Associate Director is tasked with receiving and investigating reports of alleged breaches of the Student Conduct Code. They conduct thorough investigations, adjudicate cases, and make recommendations regarding outcomes. The role involves nuanced interpretation of CSU and university policies, along with local, state, and federal laws. Collaboration with various offices is integral, and the Associate Director may be involved in developing and delivering educational workshops and programs for students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, in the Director's absence, the Associate Director assumes the role of the campus Student Conduct Administrator. Supervising up to four Assistant Directors (SSP IV) and up to four Student Conduct Coordinators (SSP III or SSP II) is a key responsibility. The Associate Director also undertakes any other duties as assigned.
