Stanford University is seeking an Administrative Services Administrator 3 to direct complex programs or functions in consultation with senior leadership.

The California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC), based within the Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking an Administrative Services Administrator 3 to serve as the Associate Director of the Maternal Health Program. This person would lead and administer a 10 million Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant award under minimal supervision and in collaboration with Stanford faculty, State of CA leadership, community and patients with lived experience.

The Associate Director of the Maternal Health Program will oversee all planning, implementation, collaboration and operations related to the grant. This will include development and implementation of the needs assessment, strategic plan, implementation of evidence based interventions and evaluation. In addition, the position will be responsible for launching a Maternal Health data dashboard to track data metrics. This position will supervise two direct reports.

CMQCC's mission is to end preventable morbidity, mortality and racial disparities in California maternity care through the development and application of research, quality improvement toolkits, and state-wide data driven collaboratives. CMQCC actively engages with 300 hospital), external stakeholder groups across the state, and other Stanford University departments. In addition, CMQCC is responsible for safely stewarding large data sets received from external organizations. Over the last 15 years, working collaboratively with an extensive set of stakeholder partners and hospitals, CMQCC has played an important role in dramatically reducing California's maternal mortality rate and improving statewide perinatal outcomes.

CMQCC actively welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and life experiences, but familiarity with obstetric care, community engagement and program implementation are a plus. Bay Area residents are strongly preferred for this Stanford-based position and will be expected to work at CMQCC's Palo Alto offices at least twice a week, but candidates outside of the Bay Area will be considered. Candidates with an interest in this position will submit both a cover letter and a resume
