Education, general:
Baccalaureate Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Web Development or other applicable degree
Experience, length in years and kind:
10 years’ experience in the field of marketing, advertising, communications, web development or graphic design

Additional Information:
Direct the day-to-day operations of creative and digital services within the Office of Communications & Marketing. Digital services includes the strategic development, research, design, testing and production of websites and other digital properties. Supervises web manager and a staff of professional graphic artists, photographers and videographers. Provides leadership to the division in its understanding and use of graphics, design, photography, videography, websites and print and digital materials. Responsible for determining the schedule, budget and priority for creative and digital projects, including website development and directing appropriate team members to work on projects. Ensure projects are integrated across traditional and digital platforms. Coordinate daily office activities, including the scheduling of vacation, to ensure proper distribution of assignments, accurate billing and records and adequate staffing.
Work with the director of marketing in the creative development of marketing materials (print, TV, video, etc.) and the ability to write and/or oversee copy for these materials. Enforce, monitor and guide the appropriate logo usage and brand guidelines in all media formats. Support service line marketing strategies by assessing customer needs and implementing the appropriate creative and digital services. Oversee the design and review of creative and digital services projects for design quality, accessibility, user experience and consistency with adherence to the brand guidelines. Collaborate with external/internal design and/or production firms on creative ideas and design options.
Serve as account executive in planning, developing and managing projects, providing customer service and follow up with colleagues on work requests ensuring projects are based on a mutual understanding of the marketing objectives and agreed upon measures of success. Assist production manager in quoting and managing projects, , deadlines and expectations. Assist with video production requests and scheduling. Develop marketing, promotional, and/or creative plans for clients. Anticipate opportunities and needs beyond what might ordinarily be adequate to advance and enhance all units of UAMS. Work with the management team of the Office of Communications & Marketing to coordinate and collaborate on projects, to maximize productivity and efficiency in all work, protecting and maintaining quality standards that reflect the brand and the image of UAMS
