The following job-specific skills and competencies are preferred:
  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience with financial aid, federal aid, and student records systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with PowerFAIDS a plus
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), along with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Team player with excellent customer service philosophy
  • Financial and analytical reporting skills
  • Professional judgment, expertise, discretion, and independent decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial aid regulations
  • Experience working in a changing environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
