Associate Director of eCampus

This position oversees a full team that provides wrap-around support services to online students from matriculation to graduation, signature innovative initiatives, as well as a full complement of online course support. eCampus is seeking a highly energetic and service-driven person who can lead a team toward program initiatives and assist students with their online education needs across the state and around the globe. This is a Fairbanks-based position with some flexible work options available upon approval. Knowledge of university curriculum, degree requirements, enrollment principles and practices and the ability to interpret and apply information. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills, including outstanding customer service skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of relational databases and CRM software and their functions to be efficient (Banner, Salesforce, Airtable). Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve student, instructor and community member issues. Excellent verbal, electronic and written communication skills.

Ability to perform well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lead and make sound decisions independently. Knowledge of university enrollment practices and state and federal regulations applicable to higher education. Knowledge of higher education trends and best practices.

Master's degree in Education, Management, Communication or related field. Six years relevant higher education leadership experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years relevant experience required and program management/coordination with supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks, some flexible off-site work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 82, based on education and experience.
