Associate Director of Admissions
Law Admissions
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Associate Directors of Admissions assists the law school in meeting its recruitment and enrollment objectives by leading on and off-campus student recruitment efforts, for the J.D program, LL.M and S.J.D programs. 
One Associate Director primarily works on JD recruitment and enrollment projects including the marketing component of the recruitment plan, following up with applicants and admitted students, event planning, and the supervision of any student workers or volunteers.
The other Associate Director primarily provides key operational support for, J.D., LL.M and S.J.D recruitment, while also supervising two Admission Coordinators who process applications, manage the computer-based admissions systems, and provide reports and data for management decisions. (It is this role which is being filled.)While the two Associate Directors have defined areas of focus, they expectation is that they will work collaboratively as needed and as appropriate in a small office setting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience composing letters and other written material. 
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at various levels.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of the Admissions Office team.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple projects. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, and database software programs, comfortable working with computers and software.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work occasional weekends, as well as early mornings and evenings to attend events as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 years of related experience in admissions, legal education, or the legal profession. 
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate Degree in Law, Communications, Management, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in graduate schools.
• Experience in process management and/or admissions.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 26.
