Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | Incumbent serves as a member of the Building & Landscape Maintenance’s leadership team, responsible for a group of approximately 80 employees and associated contractors which represents two groups: Landscape Maintenance & Arboretum/Horticultural Services. Responsible for the strategic planning and resource allocation activities that affect the groups as they relate to internal and external competition and customer satisfaction. Advises and coordinates with management staff on employee evaluations and development, operational and organizational planning, and staffing and resource issues. |

Additional Certifications: | Incumbent will be required to travel to meetings and work sites. If driving a State vehicle, must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Class “C” driver’s license or equivalent with fewer than 6 points. |
