Associate Director, Innovation Hub

The Tisch Center For Hospitality & Tourism at the NYU School of Professional Studies' is seeking an Associate Director to develop strategic plans, new programs, and initiatives to expand opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-sponsored projects and oversee the implementation and management of various Innovation Hub (I Hub) projects, collaborating with relevant academic and administrative units and ensure projects are in compliance with University legal, procedural and operational requirements. The Associate Director will coordinate and conduct operational meetings with University and School’s stakeholders. Manage relationships and communication with NYU Offices, institutional partners, and external organizations. Supervise research and prepare analyses on the financial, market, and operational aspects of potential initiatives; draft and review proposals; negotiate contract terms with external partners, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.



Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, or related field.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in business, or related field
Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience in higher education administration or equivalent combination. Ideally including experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, or business consulting and/or business development
Preferred Experience:
5+ years Demonstrated success managing innovative programs, establishing partnerships, and negotiating programmatic or service agreements between institutions both domestically and abroad. Experience representing an organization to external parties.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Commitment to higher education, academic rigor, understanding of intercultural issues, and a dedication to fostering student learning and intercultural competence. Flexible in adjusting to unusual situations and hours of work, with the ability to accommodate the challenges of global communication. Possess excellent operational, analytical, oral and written communication skills, the ability to problem solve and work efficiency. Creative and interpersonal skills necessary to work across cultures and within a team. Educational program development/partnerships
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in a second language.



In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
