The Associate Director for Student Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and well-being of students enrolled in our specialized master's program (MSM, MSLSCM, MSMIS, MSHIA). This position combines administrative expertise, mentorship, and strategic planning to enhance the overall student experience. The Associate Director collaborates closely with the director, students, faculty, and staff to create a supportive and enriching academic environment.

  • Plans, implements, and monitors student services associated with the specialized programs, handling admission, registration, graduation, scheduling, study abroad, orientation, and special events.
  • Coordinates all instructional delivery sites and ensure students meet necessary requirements.
  • Conducts annual assessments of the programs, addressing weaknesses in collaboration with the Program Director, Faculty Director and Graduate School Dean or Associate Dean.
  • Directs and manages administrative and professional staff.
  • Oversees the course schedules in consultation with the (MSM, MSLSCM, MSMIS, MSHIA). Faculty Director, Department Chairperson and Program Director.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the specialized programs, conducting end-of-year financial analyses and ensuring accuracy in procurement and accounting functions.
  • Overseeing the admissions process, for the (MSM, MSLSCM, MSMIS, MSHIA) programs which may involve extensive local, domestic, and international travel.
  • Monitors student satisfaction, recommending corrective actions to address deficiencies and ensuring compliance with accreditation processes/requirements in collaboration with the Faculty Director.
  • Directs student team assignments for the programs, managing all conflict resolution issues in collaboration with College leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree and four (4) years of experience.
  • Experience working in Higher Education.
