The Husky Union Building serves as the center of the UW community and complements the student experience through an extensive variety of cultural, educational, social, and recreational programs. These programs provide the opportunity to balance course work and free time in the Husky Experience.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Associate Director for Student Activities leads the Student Activities Office (SAO) staff and students on all initiatives related to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at UW, advising and support for student government, and execution of departmental events and initiatives. The position provides support and guidance to the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW) and Graduate & Professional Student Senate (GPSS), is responsible for the financial, administrative, and operational oversight of the SAO unit, and is a member of the HUB Executive Director’s Team.

Promising candidates will possess a passion for working in a student-centered environment with a student development theory-driven practice, fostering student success through teaching and learning, and possess the ability to make sound administrative decisions through collaborative processes to advance the HUB’s mission and strategic goals.
