This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment, with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2021. Salary range is from $75,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience. Candidates for the position of Associate Director for Instructional & Professional Development in Inclusive Teaching must have a Ph.D. in higher education or a field relevant to diversity work in higher education; 1-2 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development at the university level (or 2 years minimum of relevant postdoctoral experience); demonstrated commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education with knowledge of matters relevant to the UIC context and the lived experiences of UIC students; and ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students of differing social, educational, and economic backgrounds.
