Summary of Position
The Associate Director for Enrollment Marketing, Communications, & Events is essential to supporting the Director of Admissions in meeting the enrollment goals and educational mission of PSU. The Associate Director for Enrollment Marketing, Communications, & Events will assist with the creation and deployment of a marketing plan that will include: digital, print, social media, and branding. The Associate Director will also assist with and supervise the on campus events as related to prospective students and families. This position has primary responsibility for student recruitment materials/content and ensures that admissions related web pages are accurate and up to date. This position will also work with the Director of Admissions in developing, implementing, and monitoring a communication plan.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe University programs and campus culture
  • Public speaking skills
  • Experience working with a multicultural student population
  • Ability to work and initiate independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for marketing needs
  • Proficiency with Excel, Slate, and other data management tools
  • Willingness to be innovative using technology in recruiting students
  • Ability to analyze marketing data (i.e. google analytics) and determine ways to increase school’s digital presence for recruiting purposes
  • The ability to plan, organize and implement programs and projects related to the University’s enrollment goals
  • Leadership/Management experience; and ability to travel domestically as needed

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license.
