Job Description

This position reports directly to the Fulton Schools of Engineering Director of Student Recruitment and will work closely with the Office of Academic and Student Affairs and other Fulton Schools stakeholders involved with outreach and undergraduate and graduate student recruitment. 

The Associate Director will have an exciting opportunity to implement new and continuing strategies through Fulton Schools student recruitment initiatives and campaigns.

$50,336 -$91,520per year; DOE


Essential Duties

  • Assist in the development and then lead recruitment and yield campaigns relevant to Fulton Schools of Engineering degree programs. The Fulton Schools of Engineering Student recruitment goals, strategies and campaigns will include an emphasis on recruiting toward the underrepresented Fulton Schools student enrollment objectives. In addition, the Associate Director will assist with integrating the yearly Provost and Admission Services enrollment target objectives in the Strategic Plans.
  • Benchmark undergraduate and graduate student recruitment best practices, propose new initiatives and implement new recruitment strategies in partnership with the Fulton Schools Director of Recruitment. 
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and the Director of Recruitment to integrate the entire Outreach and Student Recruitment Strategic Plan, including undergraduate, masters and PhD recruitment Strategic Plans. Assess all recruitment and yield efforts to determine return on investment and modify efforts accordingly.
  • Collaborate with both the FSE Marketing and Communications team and the Provost’s Communication Group to develop and maintain recruitment collateral, web updates marketing campaigns, social media and all undergraduate and graduate webinar efforts
  • Collaborate with FSE Development Office to garner additional student financial resources for prospective students with financial need and support relevant outreach/recruitment on and off-campus events. 
  • Assist the FSE Dean’s Office with all graduate fellowship initiatives.
  • Supervision of staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND seven (7) years of related administrative experience, which includes four (4) years of supervisory experience; OR, Eleven (11) years of related administrative experience, which includes four (4) years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.


Desired Qualifications

  • Evidence of a Master’s degree
  • Evidence of effective communication skills
  • Experience with spreadsheets, databases and other data analysis tools. 
  • Experience in Admissions, higher education student recruitment or enrollment management. (4 years)
