Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Career & Leadership Services is responsible for the development and administration of various career and leadership services provided to the MBA student and UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni populations at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. The Associate Director will research, plan, develop, and deliver / implement career management and leadership development curriculum in both face-to-face and on-line platforms. In addition, the Associate Director will provide extensive one-on-one coaching to UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni, focused on both career management and leadership development. The Associate Director will report to the Senior Associate Director of Career & Leadership Services within the Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni Department.  
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate should have at least 5 years of post-undergraduate relevant work experience in a corporate or graduate academic setting. Demonstrated knowledge of career management and leadership development programming is required. Previous people management experience is preferred, to build credibility with the working professional student population. Experience with coaching/managing MBAs in the industry, counseling MBA students one-on-one, career mapping, program management, corporate recruiting, facilitation or training is helpful. Certifications to provide debrief coaching on various assessment tools, such as Career Leader, Strengths Finder 2.0 / Strengths-Based Leadership, or Hogan Development Survey, preferred. Critical skills include: the ability to build internal and external relationships with broad constituencies; a demonstrated commitment to customer service; and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Preexisting relationships with multiple companies is helpful. The candidate must have strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills, and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population of high-performing individuals. The successful applicant will have a strong comfort level working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, and able to multitask and meet multiple deadlines. Candidate must also demonstrate initiative as well as project or event management skills, possess an entrepreneurial orientation, and have a proven track record of achievement.An undergraduate degree is required. A master's degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA, is strongly preferred.
