Job Title Associate Director, Annual Giving Events and Stewardship
Job Description
The Associate Director, Annual Giving Events and Stewardship oversees event execution, donor experiences and engagement, and stewardship communications for members of Notre Dame’s Giving Societies . Events
The Associate Director will coordinate and host 50+ annual events for giving society members, both on and off campus. The Associate Director will ensure that our members enjoy a frictionless experience while collaborating with the Leadership Events team within University Enterprises and Events on logistics.
Stewardship
The Associate Director will lead the stewardship for our premier-level members in the Law and Business Deans’ Circles by providing best-in-class donor engagement and crafting unique opportunities to showcase their impact. This role will also provide leadership and support through Giving Society stewardship initiatives, including navigating the Annual Giving team’s partnership with our colleagues in Stewardship.
Giving Society Member Engagement
The Associate Director will manage all aspects of Giving Society member recognition, including oversight of materials and projects associated with the member welcome experience. The Associate Director will also provide as-needed support to engage inbound communications from Giving Society members and provide enhanced donor engagement of our premier-level members.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of event planning/guest relations experience in lieu of degree considered
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google (email, calendaring, docs and sheets)
  • Exceptional organization, collaboration, and prioritization skills are required
  • Mission-oriented toward the aims of the University
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient nonprofit experience
  • Fundraising operations experience
