Summary of Position
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Associate Development Director & 4-H Director, leading UNH Cooperative Extension fundraising efforts. This position reports to a managing director of development through UNH Advancement with a dotted line to the director of UNH Extension. In this role, you will lead and oversee fundraising efforts to support the impactful work of UNH Cooperative Extension, with a focus on 4-H programs and initiatives. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving general fundraising strategies, maintaining strategic action plans, and supporting the 4-H Foundation Board. The success of this position will be evidenced by annual fundraising metrics identified in partnership with UNH Advancement, and a full 4-H Foundation board with a high level of engagement.

  • Proven experience in fundraising and donor relations, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with donors, board members, and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic fundraising plans.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to donor meetings and events.
