This is a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving position that is a good fit for candidates with strong attention to detail and strong student-centered customer service with experience communicating effectively and professionally with multiple stakeholders.  This position manages our online textbook website, processes student refunds, student account maintenance functions, and assists with other accounts receivable related tasks.

To thrive in this role a candidate should have 3 years of professional fiscal experience and have the ability to oversee and assist in a wide variety of job functions. 

The University of Alaska Southeast resides in Lingít Aaní (Tlingit land), adjacent to the ancestral home of the X̱aadas (Haida) and Ts’msy-en (Tsimshian) peoples.  The Juneau area is also home to the largest Federally Recognized Tribe in Alaska and several Native Corporations and smaller tribes. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Management or related field and 3 years' professional fiscal experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to perform the functions of the position.

At least 2 years' of supervisory experience preferred. 

Position Details:

This position is located on the Southeast campus in Juneau, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 80, based on education and experience.
