Athletics at Texas A&M University is looking for an Associate Athletic Director or a Senior Associate Athletic Director. As the Associate Athletic Director, you will oversee, manage, administer and maintain departmental functions in Athletics. Working directly with Athletic's administration, you will be the departmental liaison for capital projects and represent Athletics in project coordination.

The Senior Associate Athletic Director under the direction of the Athletic Director, provides leadership including planning, directing and evaluating departmental operations. Oversight of strategic planning and development, and program administration will be a part of your responsibilities, as well as serving as the departmental liaison for capital projects and representing Athletics in project coordination.

Qualifications*

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for both levels of the positions

Five years of experience in administration, project management or similar leadership position is required for the Associate Athletic Director.

Seven years of experience in administration, project management or similar leadership position is required for the Senior Associate Athletic Director

*Compensation and classification is based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

Athletics' Liaison - to the University's office of Campus, Planning, Design and Construction; Capital Projects Representative

Collaboration - work with sports supervisors, athletics staff and head coaches to coordinate all capital projects

12th man representative - work with 12th Man Foundation staff on donor presentations, architectural renderings and materials that benefit fund raising campaigns

Compliance - maintain continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations; establishes and ensure communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised
